Fluency Applications (v8.250115)
This release introduces Fluency Applications. A data source is now installed from an application template that sets up every component it needs, and each installed application gets its own processing pipeline and metrics. The release rolled out to all instances the weekend of January 18–19, 2025. Existing integrations and pipelines are unchanged.
Fluency Applications
- One template, every component. An application template lists all the components a data source needs and installs them together.
- A pipeline per application. Each installed application instance has its own data processing pipeline and its own metrics.
- Share nothing. Applications do not share pipeline components, so a problem with one data source does not interfere with another.
Interface
- New Applications management page, with two views:
- Available applications — the templates that can be installed.
- Installed applications — the application instances on the site.
See Applications and Install Application from Template.
