Provider Role for Multi-Tenant Sites (v8.240615)

Multi-tenant sites gain a provider role, so an MSSP's own staff can work across their tenants — collectors, syslog ports, platform configuration and behavior data — without site-admin rights.

Changes​

  • New provider role. A user with the provider role has a provider name and the restricted flag set on their account.
  • Provider management. A new page lets the site admin manage providers: each has a name, a description and a list of tenants.
  • Working across tenants. A provider user sees every tenant in their provider's list: syslog ports, collectors, platform configuration, behavior events, behavior summaries and behavior filters. They can also search events across those tenants.
  • Adding users. A provider user can add users with the same provider setting.
