A minor release for AI clients and reports: MCP tools work for read-only roles, a new kql_search MCP tool queries the data lake, and reports can run for up to an hour.

Changes​

MCP and API​

  • New read-only APIs let MCP tools run for users whose roles have read-only permissions.
  • New MCP tool kql_search runs a KQL query against the data lake.

  • The report task timeout is raised from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
