Egress Metrics and Scheduled Exports (v8.241218)

A minor release that adds egress metrics to the EventWatch and LavaDB sinks, lets scheduled jobs run exports and send them by email, and introduces a platform job API, which now runs FPLv1 investigations. It also stops a behavior event with a future timestamp from halting behavior summaries.

Changes​

Behavior summary service​

  • A behavior event timestamped in the future no longer stops the summary from updating. If a summary's saved last-update time is in the future, the summary state is reset.

Data pipeline​

  • New egress metrics on the EventWatch and LavaDB data sinks, alongside the existing ingress metrics. See Sink.
  • Fixed the event parser's error statistics.

Jobs and exports​

  • Scheduled jobs (cron jobs) can run exports.
  • An export run by a scheduled job can be delivered by email.
  • New platform job API.
  • FPLv1 investigations run as platform jobs.
