Syslog over TLS: Certificate Change
The certificate Fluency uses to receive syslog over TLS changes on August 8, 2024. Devices and syslog servers that send syslog over TLS directly to Fluency may need to be updated to keep sending. Sites that send through a Fluency Collector are not affected.
If you send syslog over TLS directly to Fluency, contact Fluency Support for the details and the updated certificate.
Who is affected
- Affected: devices or syslog servers (rsyslog, syslog-ng, NXLog and similar) that send syslog over TLS straight to a Fluency site.
- Not affected: syslog sent through a Fluency Collector.
What to do
Contact Fluency Support through the support portal, or from Settings → Support in Fluency (see Support). Support will confirm which of your senders need the change and provide what they need.
