Multi-Tenant Support for MSSPs
Fluency now supports multiple tenants on a single site. An MSSP can host up to 100 customers on one site, each with its own collectors, syslog ports, data platform and detection, and manage them all from one place.
The release reaches all instances on April 7, 2024. Multi-tenant mode is enabled site by site.
What it gives an MSSP
- One site, many customers. Add and remove tenants from the Tenant Admin menu, and switch into any tenant's view from the Tenant drop-down.
- Collection per customer. Each tenant gets its own remote collectors and syslog ports, and its own data sources, routers, processors and sinks.
- Detection kept apart. Each tenant has its own EventWatch engine and entity info tables, and its behavior events and summaries are stored separately. Every event is labeled with its tenant.
- Consent without a meeting. Microsoft 365 authorization now works by invitation: you email the customer's administrator a link, they approve Fluency in the Azure portal, and the integration appears on your site. No shared sign-in, no three-way call.
Smaller customers
Multi-tenant sites suit MSSPs with many small and mid-sized customers, where a dedicated site per customer would be more than the customer needs. Larger customers can keep a site of their own.
Details are in the Multi-Tenant Support release notes.
