Cookbooks
The cookbooks are a library of working code taken from real deployments — FPL parsers that turn a specific vendor's raw output into normalized events, and report scripts that query the data lake and assemble tables for dashboards and scheduled delivery. They are not tutorials: each recipe is a complete, functioning script meant to be copied into a processor and adapted, which makes them the fastest route from "this device is sending data" to "this data is usable". Where a vendor integration page describes how to get data flowing, the cookbook for that vendor is what makes sense of it once it arrives.
What is in this section
- Reports — report scripts that query the data lake and build tables, metrics and alerts for dashboards and scheduled reports.
- Parsers — FPL processor scripts that select and normalize raw records from specific vendors, plus general-purpose utility recipes.
When no recipe exists
Several supported devices have no cookbook entry. In that case, start from Passthrough to see the raw records, build up field extraction from there, and contact support, who will write a parser for an unsupported format at no cost.
