Query - sWildcard

Sections
  1. Example
  2. Results

The sWildcard(<col>) query returns ‘true’ when the value of the column <col> exists.

Example

search
let EventID = f("@fields.EventID")
aggregate count() by EventID
let {Description} = entitylookup(EventID, "AD_EventID")
where sWildcard(Description)

Results

After extracting the field “Description” by entitylookup(), the command where sWildcard(Description) only keeps the rows with a valid value for ‘Description’. Without this command, the result table is like the second figure in entitylookup. (Also shown below.)
